Join the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust’s “Youth Parkway Ambassadors” Farber cohort for a Free Open House event at Sumner Peck Ranch! Bring your family and participate in any of our free events presented by high school youth leaders:
Location: Sumner Peck Ranch - 14439 N Friant Rd, Frant, CA 93626
Date/Time: Saturday, December 14th – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Lunch provided! Pizza will be available for participants at 12:00 pm. Please Register below.
Open House Schedule of Events:
- Canoeing: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm; Please register below.
- Canoes are 2-person boats. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the canoe. No children under the age of 4 may participate in canoeing. Maximum of 3 people per boat (2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children). All participants must have a completed liability form signed by a parent or guardian. Liability forms will be provided at the event.
- Scavenger Hunt: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Art Station: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Tie-dye*, Paracord bracelet making, and water coloring!
- *Bring your own white t-shirt or article of clothing you wish to tie-dye. White bandanas will be available for participants.
- Group Games: 10:00 am; 1:00 pm
Parents are required to stay on-site and with youth participants for the duration of the Open House. Once on site, follow signs to the Open House Event.
