Join the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust’s “Youth Parkway Ambassadors” for a Free Open House event at Millerton Lake! Bring your family and participate in any of our free events presented by high school youth leaders:
Date/Time: Saturday, April 11th – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: Meadows Day Use Area at Millerton Lake is located at 288J+X8, Friant, CA 93626 using the Madera entrance off Hwy 145 - Click here for google map directions

Once you pass the entrance booth follow the road until the very end passing the camp sites and you will have arrived at the Meadows Day Use Area parking lot.

Entrance fee will be waived for event participants. Please let the host at the booth know you are attending the open house event.
Free Lunch will be provided. Registration required.
Open House Schedule of Events:
- Fishing: 10:00am - 2:00pm; Anyone 16 years and over is required to have a CA fishing license. 15 years and younger do not need a fishing license.
- Arts & Crafts: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Family educational activities:
- Leave No Trace game
- Mindfulness session
- Fire Safety basics
- Creepy Crawlies River Critters
Lunch will not be guaranteed without a registration. All other activities are open to the public and do not need registrations.
Canoeing will not be a station at this event.
Parents are required to stay on-site and with youth participants for the duration of the Open House.
