Evening Kayak Tour - 8/01/25

Enjoy an adventure on the San Joaquin River! On this 3.5 hour downriver trip, you will paddle from Sumner Peck Ranch to Owl Hollow, the River Parkway Trust’s riverfront property near the River Center. This stretch of the river takes you along quiet, calm stretches, through fun twists and turns and past a heron rookery, with beautiful oak woodland views along the way. You will learn the basics of paddling, with time to practice on a calm area of the river before heading downstream. This trip is perfect for both new and experienced kayakers alike!

Groups will meet their guide at the River Center and caravan to the end point to drop off half of participant vehicles, then shuttle to the starting point at Sumner Peck Ranch. Groups will spend approximately 2 hours on the water.

• Participants are responsible for shuttling all members of their group between the tour locations. Please plan accordingly and ensure you have the appropriate number of vehicles with passenger space for all members of your party.

Time: 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm 

Price: $55/participant

Participants: Maximum of 12 participants. Participants must register in groups of 2 or more to accommodate shuttling requirements. Ages 16+. Kayaks are one person, sit on top boats.

Full refund provided for cancellations made at least 1 week in advance of the tour. 50% refund provided for cancellations made three days prior to the tour. No refund is provided for late cancellations or no-shows.  If a tour is cancelled due to low enrollment or inclement weather, registered participants will be contacted and offered the opportunity to reschedule or request a full refund.
