April 13th - Richter Center Community Service Event

Join the River Parkway Trust in Partnership with Fresno State's Richter Center Student Leaders for a day of service learning on the San Joaquin River! We'll spend the first part of the morning at Fresno River West, where we'll participate in a trash and project cleanup and learn about the ongoing riparian habitat enhancement projects on site. Then, we'll head to the River Center and to help upcycle leftover River Camp t-shirts into reusable bags, and dog toys for donation to local community service organizations.

Bring your lunch for a picnic while working on your craft.

9:00 am - 11:00 am - Clean up and restoration walk & talk

11:00 am - Caravan to River Center

11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle workshop repurposing old t-shirts for donation
