New Year's with the Eagles Walk @ Millerton - January 1st

Celebrate the new year with a morning observing the migrating bald eagles. Each winter, eagles overwinter along the shores of Millerton Reservoir.  Join us for a free, easy 2-mile hike to view these magnificent birds. PLEASE NOTE: While bald eagle sightings are highly likely, they are not guaranteed.

Meet guides Larry and Nathan at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA) at 8:15 am to pick up park entry passes and caravan to McKenzie Point at Millerton Lake.  This walk may be up to 2 miles in length and take up to 2 hours once on site at Millerton.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water. This is a rain or shine event.  Children 8+ welcome, no dogs please.

You choose how much to pay!  A small donation of $5-$10/person helps us to continue to offer public free and low cost nature walks throughout the year.
