Eagle Walk at Millerton Lake

Join us for a fun morning to observe iconic bald eagles as they winter along the shores of Millerton Lake. This free guided hike offers incredible opportunity to connect with nature and witness these magnificent birds in their seasonal habitat.

Enjoy a leisurely 2-mile walk with your guide Larry, who will share insights about eagles and their environment. We'll meet at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA, 93730) at 7:45 am to pick up park entry passes and caravan to McKenzie Point at Millerton Lake.

This family-friendly adventure is suitable for ages 8 and up (sorry, no dogs are allowe). Be prepared for an outdoor experience: dress in layers, wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, and bring sunscreen, water, and binoculars if you have them.

While sightings are highly likely, they cannot be guaranteed. This event will proceed rain or shine.

Support the River Parkway Trust's Community Programs: Your optional tax-deductible donation of $5 to $10 per person helps us continue to offer free and low-cost outdoor community programs throughout the year. Your support is greatly appreciated.
