Nature walk while learning something new at the River Center
Join us for a peaceful and educational walk starting at the River Center to Owl Hollow and back. Children are welcomed . The walk will begin at 9AM by the pond in front of the Ranch House at the River Center.
Plan on doing an easy 2-mile walk on dirt roads and trails. The walk's focus will be on the role of cycles in nature and the impact of native culture on California pre and post European settlement. The walk is typically 2hrs, but can take 3hrs. Bring water, a hat, sunscreen , wear closed-toed shoes, and binoculars are recommended.
